My father has been in this retirement home for 5 years. I am not very pleased with it, and the its that I a pertaining to are: high turnover rate for employees, shady personnel as the former social worker and current physician's assistant, dirty a lot, smelly, and the personal grooming of my father is terrible. He's in a diaper and is soiled most times when we visit him. We visit him on a regular basis. You may ask why we leave him there, well, he is a Disabled Veteran and it was the closest drive for my mother to see him; otherwise, we would be traveling to Marshalltown which is 2 hours away. If you are a Veteran and are determining this place, they charge the VA (taxpayer) $7,000 dollars a month.
