I applied for an Activities Directors Assistant job at St. Lukes, I didn't get hired :( But, I just had to share what a nice experience it was to see that there really is a place that you can trust that your loved one will be genuinely taken care of. I interviewed with both the Activities Director and Administrator, and both made it very clear that their first and most important priority was elderly men and women that lived there. And that their main concern was not how quickly or how much you could get done, it was that you did the job in a caring and compassionate way. Another thing I thought was awesome, was that she told me " most of these people LoveJesus and might just want you to pray or sing with them". Just a TOP NOTCH place with Top notch people running it! They dress professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. I was amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for the well being of every single person that lives at st. Lukes.. Their care is always wonderful and . The whole place was spotless. It smelled amazing in there and looked immaculate. .
I do not agree with the way they do business here, it is always their way or the highway. They are so uncooperative if a customer complains and are never willing to admit if they are wrong. One thing that I don't appreciate, is that they close exactly at their scheduled time whether someone needs help or not. I can't count on them to help me if I show up even a couple of minutes past their closing time. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most.
