Nursing staff very insufficient, not too learned. The whole staff blames the shift of workers that just left. My husband waited for hours to get a filthy bandage changed, waited for hours to get his dirty diaper changed, which he doesn't need anyway, that is if the nurses weren't too lazy to get him to the commode. Hours and hours before he could get clean sheets.He is allowed 1 set of sheets and 1bedspread. I bought him a blanket for cover. My husband is there for rehabilitation. Cannot verbalize to any extent but understands everything and uses his own sign language to communicate. But he is treated like a log who knows nothing. For Sunday dinner the patients were treated with a baloney sandwich and a bit of tomato soup. He is there to make his left side stronger. His right side is the affected side so the left must compensate. There are other things too numerous to mention here. This is the choice of VA health care. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY!

traumatic experience, my mom was there for 3 weeks and deteriorated quickly.
had 2 unattended falls with 3 different stories of what happened. nurses not very patient and were aggravated easily. after 2 falls and 2 hospital visit and stay, had to relocate her and she still is not within her normal self. I would strongly recommend anyone to please keep away from this place.
she is still so drugged she is still unable to sit and stand. she can't communicate and even eat. how the staff sleep at night, i don't understand.
