If you are looking for a quiet home where the staff remembers everyone and treats your family member like they would their own this is the place. It is small which is a benefit as it allows time for each patient to get the care they need. The staff is great. Always kind and willing to go above and beyond. All calls and questions are answered in a timely manner. My dad has been very happy there. The activities and meals are great and we always feel welcome. If you show up to check out the place during bathroom or shower time you are going to smell urine. It is a nursing home and most of the patients are wearing disposable undergarments. Imagine changing 30+ diapers at one time for babies-now imagine it is adults. You are going to have a stinky trash can until everyone is showered and cleaned up. My dad is very old school and likes the country feel and the southern charm of the staff. If you want bells and whistles you dont want Pecan Manor. If you want love, attention, and personal touch this is the place.
