I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. I felt that they were understaffed and would only follow our requests for a day or two. The communication between shifts was not good. I was warned by family living close by that if I would complain they would take it out on the patient. Recently I heard that that is a general problem with nursing homes. I feel like a stand needs to be taken. I do not know the solution yet.. but it seems that a requirement of fewer than 19 patienst to one nurse would be adviseable and that a briefing between shifts takes place between nurses and nurses aids. It would also seem that it would be important to follow the families wishes. Sometimes they would follow the patients wishes and other times not. They said they are all about the patient choice. That is difficult if the family is wanting to help progress happen. This patient was not a long term patient. I know that they had things on their mind but often it would happen that they forgot the conversation and their part in that conversation.
