I lived at the Minneapolis Veterans Home and at the one in Hastings. My issues were complex and often baffling, but the staff did all they could to help me. The Veterans Home is amazing. In continuous use since the late 1800's, the Minneapolis Home has changed with the times and needs of its veterans and their wives. I was taken in when i had nothing, treated with respect and concern as an individual, helped to get well and go on with my life. This happened not once but three separate times. I lived in three different buildings on the Minneapolis campus and various times and at one in Hastings. I'm impressed with the new changes I've seen via the virtual online tour. I don't think better care is easy to find, and if I had the need of such care again I wouldn't hesitate to return.
