If you love the person who is there or going there get them OUT don't let them go there the nurses lie and do not care the administration lie and do not care if you want your loved one to die this is where they go to die not heal medicines are not given or they are mixed up the aides seem to care but they really have no say I believe there is a class for nurses to teach them how to lie I heard this was one of the better ones wow how sad for the elderly who worked their whole lives to be treated so badly
LGAR is a terrible place to have your Alzheimer's (Dementia) love one. LGAR claims that they are able to take care of your love one. And has continued to call my family, even during my fathers viewing and funeral, to come in and calm my mother down. If we didn't come in, LGAR would send my mother to the psych unit at the hospital where the hospital would continuously tell us that she is not a mental illness candidate. The hospital would suggest certain meds and doses to give my mom but LGAR would do as they wanted. They care more about the state coming in and see that they medicate people too much then the resident, The staff is very unprofessional and rude. The staff has no idea on how an Alzheimer person is suppose to act. And continuously tell me that my mother is being inappropriate. I keep reminding them that my mother has Alzheimer and that is the way she is suppose to act. If you are planning to place your love one at LGAR, I would look else where.
