I use to work at court manor a few years ago for two weeks, I could not stand working in such terrible conditions and seen how little people care about their residents. The staff was nice but its more about hanging out more than work and providing a good living environment for the residents. It was the most horrible place I have ever seen. Let me start when I first started I walked in to a room where they had a man in some kind of crib. This man was soaking wet like nobody had checked on him all day. The aid did not even check on him once in an 8 hr. shift. People that are obviously ill with gangrene wounds where outside smoking, I never saw any kind of therapy be done to any of the residents that where so stiff. Residents that are morbidly obese where not in any kind of special diet. Some of this residents should not have been in this facility because they are so aggressive and since the majority of the aids are females it was a bad combination. Some residents have mental disabilities and should be in another kind of facility not a nursing home for the elderly. I also saw a resident being kicked out in to the street because their insurance was not paying I don't even want to know where this poor resident ended up. There was a lot of nice residents that where so kind and sweet. I really hated to see them living in that kind of place. The staff is really nice but they need more training and education in how to properly care for residents. One more thing in most facilities they use disposable briefs/diapers and wipes. This facility used washable briefs/diapers and for wipes wet towels that could later be used again that is really out of date and gross. Hopefully with the new facility this type of condition changes and people start to think about how they can give the residents the best environment and quality of life that they deserve.

I am a resident of Court Manor and i have been the witness to thing that i wish i have never seen and have had to go through things that no one should of gone through, like i had to go 21 days with out a bath because the cna's did not wont to do there job, i have seen residen's lay in there oun wast for a few hours because the cna was no wear to be found, when it is time to eat the meals i have seen it wear a resident did not get a tray i am one of them that did not get a tray for eath breakfest lunch or dinner i at times not in the same day now, and there are afew resident's that are very viloent i have seen one resident knock the day lights out of another resident all because that resident would not give up the remote to the tv in our dinning room and they did nothen to the other resident that did the hitting, i have also seen a resident knock the living day lights out of a cna and nothen was done to the resident, i have seen resident talk to a cna like a dog and that cna put the resident in check and the cna was fired for it, it's not just the staff you will have to worry about it's the resident alwell, i have had items come up missing sence i have been hear and nothen was done about it, i have watched residents just go at it no hits was given but the words that was used i am a disabled truck driver and i have never heard talk like that all of my years out there on the open road, what i am trying to tell you there are a lot better places out there then Court Manor Nuring Center and in June 2010 Court Manor Nursing Center will be moving to a new bulding changing there name from Court Manor to Habbor View so if you se Habbor View it's Court Manor the name has changed but that isabout all that will changed and I am telling you the truth I use to like it hear at Court Manor Nursing Center but not any more not sencewe got our 3rd adimstreater sence i have been hear but she Stacey Wallace will not be hear too much longer i am and the other resident and a few of the staff members have seen to that so in closing i will say this ne more time IF YOU LOVE YOUR MOM OR AND DAD PLEASE DOPNT SEN THEM TO COURT MANOR/ HABBOR VIES find a new place to let them go to in closing i would allso like to say Court Manor Nursing Center is the wost place i have ever had to live at.
