i had my baby there and it was by far the worse care i've ever experienced. note st.joseph's is a teaching hospital. and as a teaching hospital you have a lot of people/doctors coming in and out.. it was a poor facility, staff and poor service.very disorganized.
i.e.
1. they used a flash light during a check up to see if my water broke.
2. i had a teaching doctor who wouldn't leave me alone until i let him check me and i wanted to kill him.. he was unbelievable insensitive and harmful
3. with each change of nurse staff they were not updated on my status.
4. lactation specialist is only present on certain days. and no breastpumps available only for rent in hospital which i thought was pretty lame...
5. unprofessional nurses (though some were nice.. most seemed like they had to much going on to care to see if i had gotten any meds.) they were very unconcerned......to anything.
6. and they made me walk out for discharge
very poor experience for my first child
