As a Psychotherapist and Mental Health Counselor, Dr. Alvarez has extensive background in delivering clinical counseling core competencies, curriculum-based treatment programming, staff development, and clinical supervision of staff. He has been a clinical supervisor for LMFT-Associates and LPC-Interns since 1996 and 1993 respectively.
As a Counselor Educator, he is highly proficient in incorporating best practices in counseling and disability support services, cutting-edge pedagogy, and curriculum instruction innovations (e.g., collaborative learning communities, universal design for instruction, technology-enhanced learning, etc.) in the classroom.
Roman's private counseling & consulting practice is called C3 Institute. C3 Institute's counseling and consulting practice, informed by ecosystemic philosophy, is based on the inherent value of all life.
