I have had two LASIK procedures performed by Dr Larry Taub. Both procedures were performed at First Eye Care Dallas (Infinity Laser Vision) and the pre-screening was performed by Tom Ballard. The outcome of my LASIK surgeries performed by Dr Taub has left me with poor vision both day and night, even with contacts. I suffer higher from order aberrations that cause me to see multiple images in each eye as well as large starburst and halos from everything that is illuminated, even during the day. I also have frequent eye pain. The poor outcome of my procedures has also left me unable to participate in the activities I could prior to LASIK, makes work difficult, and leaves me unable to even enjoy watching a movie with my wife. The soft, disposable contact lenses I used to be able to see well with prior to LASIK no longer correct my vision. I now have to wear special hybrid contacts (Synergeyes) to get the best correction as I cannot tolerate RGP contacts, nor can I see well with them. These contacts are expensive and are difficult to insert and remove. They do not correct my vision to the level it was prior to these surgeries. I cannot begin to explain the negative affect this has had on both myself and my wife. My surgeries were both performed in 2010 so do not think that issues no longer occur. Please do not think that the risks with this procedure are minimal or won't happen to you. The risks are very real and the consequences are life long. This is a brief explanation of MY results after having LASIK performed by Dr Larry Taub and being screened for the surgery by Tom Ballard. Please research LASIK related complications and negative outcomes before even thinking about LASIK. I can promise you that wearing glasses or contact lenses is much easier than if you have a bad outcome as I did.

They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. I've been to one or two places that had a really bad smell. I was worried I would encounter it here too but I didn't notice anything.
