I was in the middle of 10 days away from home, suffering from very bad back and hip pain. I had visited this clinic before I moved away, and she was the only doctor available. She kept me waiting 20 minutes in the exam room, then asked in a not-so-nice tone, "Why did you come to see me instead of calling your regular doctor?" She already had all the information in front of her, but I explained anyway. When I told her about my pain, she said "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" During the course of a 3-minute visit, she asked me that question 3 times. She never examined me, never even touched me, barely looked away from her computer monitor. Finally, I said that it was a mistake coming to see her, and I was going to just leave and call a real doctor for some help. I was NOT asking for any kinds of drugs or narcotics, but she definitely acted as if that's what I was there for. When I told a friend about this doctor, she knew the doctor's name even though I didn't mention it. She said another friend of hers had he exact same type of visit with this snotty, unhelpful doctor.
