I visited Dr. Downer today and he was very thorough. I had about 20 questions and he answered them very well, except for the ones that didn't have definitive answers. This was my second consultation and I had reviewed one surgeon prior. Dr. Downer was my second opinion. I have confidence that everything will be all right. He didn't promise me the moon; he wasn't chatty. But I wouldn't be either if I did 3000 arthroscopies. I understand that he has to draw professional boundaries. I'm looking forward to him healing my hip.
