Selected four times by his peers as a Washingtonian TOP DOCTOR, Dr. Shor has also been selected by Best Doctors.com and Washington Consumer's Checkbook as a top Primary Care Physician. Dr. Shor developed his long standing interest in chronic fatigue in the late 1980s. He subsequently developed an interest in managing associated conditions such as fibromyalgia and ultimately led to his interest in Lyme disease. A congressional presentation of Lyme disease on Capitol Hill 9/24/08, an interview on the nationally syndicated Diane Rehm Show [4/20/09] and an invitation to participate in the 2010 Virginia Governor's Task Force on Lyme disease are examples of Dr Shor's strong interest in educating the public. He continues to be actively involved in patient care while pursuing his interests in clinical research and publishing in the peer review literature.
