I live in California but have been very disappointed with the orthopedic doctors that are in my area. After complaining to my sister (an ex nurse) about my choices in California, she recommended that I go see Dr. Mattsson.
I was so impressed with him and the time he took to explain what was wrong with me in terms I could understand, I went back to Utah to have him operate on my shoulder. I have since flew to Utah to have him correct an operation done on my knee by my local doctor.
I would recommend Dr. Mattsson to anyone who wants a cheerful, knowledgable and competant surgeon who will happily take time with you to expalin what ever you need to know.
