I was a patient of Dr William Beaty in Beaumont, Tx 1978. I know this has been a long time ago and he was young but so was I. He delivered my baby that had anencephaly. That's what he said anyways. This was not a compassionate doctor at all. He adviced me not to see my baby and I regret that so much. My son kicked until the day he was born and I couldn't tell you anything about the delivery. I was in labor for 28 hrs and he had me so doped up I didn't know much of anything. I was only 19 yrs old and listened to him. When I look at babies that had this and got foot prints and hand prints of their babies plus so many of them put caps on their little heads and got to hold them. If this doctor was so compassionate, why didn't he give me this advice instead of telling me that it would be So Gross that it's best I didn't see him or hold him. I will never forget this. I'm 57 yrs old and I still have dreams about this. Was my baby really stillborn!
