I could not get past the receptionist. I was a patient in 2006 and 2008. The appointment setter could not find me in the computer because she was misspelling my name. When she finally spelled it right and foung me she said I would be a new patient and they weren't accepting new patients with Blue Cross/ Blue Shield. My provider list as of today said they are. I explained that my insurance had been Aetna Hmo from 2009 until recently and they did not accept it, so now that I have BC / BS I would like to come back. She said she would check on it and call me the next day. That was about 2 weeks ago, so today when I called back she said " I thought your name sounded familiar and I explained your situation and they said no. I felt like at best she didn't call me as she said she would, but I felt like she was really not looking out for my best interests. I do really like Dr. Gelderneck but was very disapointed with her staff.
