Nasha Holt, MD has been in private practice since 1987. Dr. Holt received her medical degree from McMaster University Medical School in Ontario, Canada. She practiced Family Medicine until 2006, when she focused her practice exclusively on the care of patients with headaches and neck-generated head and face problems. She believes that a holistic approach gives patients the best chance of recovery from chronic pain conditions which have often impacted many areas of their lives. Most of the patients she sees have been in chronic pain for years, and their lives have become pretty messy by the time they see her. Many of them suffer from depression and anxiety.
Dr. Holt systematically addresses health-promoting changes in the areas of sleep, exercise, diet, nutritional supplements and positive mental attitude. Her patients have huge needs in these areas, and this individualized educational aspect of her approach is another part of what distinguishes her practice from the care headache patients receive in primary care and specialty settings.

An excellent physician that was very thorough with a holistic orientation. Dr. Holt provided the best medical care I've ever had and successfully stopped a problem with severe migraine headaches that were making my life miserable. She found the root cause of those headaches, gave me some preventive activities and to my great relief they are a thing of the past. I cannot recommend her enough. Her bedside manner is also very compassionate and she takes the time you need in order to heal
"How many hours do you sleep?....Eight?....Oh...well, you should probably try to get 8 hours of sleep then." Does this sound like the type of doctor you want to see? What about a doctor that makes you wait for 30 minutes, then when you are taken into a room, you are told to watch this 8 minute video OF THE DOCTOR talking in a chair before the they actually come in to see you? Of course not. I swear this in itself gave me a migraine. When the doctor comes in and says her piece, don't try to ask any questions or she will talk over you. Even if she asks, don't do it. You will only get frustrated and she will say that its something she will cover in another appointment. Did I mention she is in-cahoots with another doctor? Oh yeah. You can't just go see this doctor for your issue. You are told to go see ANOTHER doctor who can fix you up, but you still need to go see this one. Referral bonus for her!!! Seriously?? I get migraines; I'm not stupid. The first visit you get a flyer with all kinds of expensive pills that she is obviously getting a cut from. Then it gets worse from there on out. She will tell you to do what a toddler would do before bed, how long you should be sleeping, to sleep with tennis balls in your shirt, etc. I had some hope when I started and as the appointments progressed it was all lost. It's quack medicine. Don't waste your time.
