Dr. Boyd has absolutely no idea how to treat patients with any kind of panic or anxiety disorder or phobia. He practices at Lakeside Hospital, so if you are going there I would highly suggest that you demand another, more competent, doctor. It also seemed to me that he tends to keep patients longer than necessary in order to make more money off of them, for himself, and for the hospital. Not only does he have no knowledge of the treatment of anxiety and panic disorders, but he also prescribes medications that are not FDA approved for your condition. For example a medication FDA approved for bipolar disorder when you do not have bipolar but a side effect of the medication could possibly benefit you, a practice I find highly unethical. Why a doctor would not prescribe you a medication approved for your condition is beyond me. I left the hospital worse than when I came in. I just had to lie and say I was doing better because he had kept me there so long without any progress at all, and the facility is very expensive. On top of all this, he takes the weekends off, when most of the other doctors will see you everyday. If I could give this "psychiatrist" a rating of 0 stars I would.
