We are conveniently located on Cool Springs Boulevard in Franklin, Tennessee. Just past Gateway Tires and Crye-Leike, our building sits across the street from NHC Place in front of Primrose School. We have been serving the community since 2001 with many of our patients coming from Westhaven, Fieldstone Farms, and Mckays Mill. Our trained and certified providers are here for all of your skincare needs, specializing in skin cancer, full body skin checks, acne, rosacea, and rashes. We take care of all ages, including seniors, children, and infants. Our PenaMD Studio on site offers a variety of lasers, botox, fillers, and dermapen for your cosmetic needs.

Education Dr. Julie Pena is a magna cum laude graduate of The University of Michigan where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She received her Medical Degree at Northwestern University School of Medicine.
Training Dr. Pena completed pathology and dermatology residency programs at The University of Florida College of Medicine and at Southern Illinois University, respectively, along with a one-year internship in internal medicine at Northwestern University School of Medicine. During her dermatology residency, she completed additional surgical training under the direction of Mohs Micrographic surgeon Dr. Robert Buzzell.

Office Staff Dr. Pena has a dedicated team of six PAs to attend to her patients' needs. PAs use independent decision-making for patient care. This team model is an efficient way to provide high-quality patient care. By design, physicians and PAs work together as a team. All PAs practice medicine with physician supervision. Dr. Pena communicates with her PAs daily and is at each location throughout the week.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I had poison ivy and they got me an appointment the same day I called and helped me get some relief.
