In July of 2008, Dr. Razick performed my first colonoscopy. He removed several polyps and sent them for biopsy. One, a flat polyp, turned out to be malignant. I have done quite a bit of research since that time and discovered that flat polyps are sometimes overlooked by colonoscopists or dismissed as unimportant. Dr. Razick did not. Up until that time, I had been screened by quarterly Fecal Occult Blood Tests (FOBT) provided by the VA. In fact, I submitted a FOBT sample one month prior to my colonoscopy. The results showed no presence of blood in my intestinal tract (not all polyps bleed.) If not for Dr. Razick, the malignant polyp might have gone undiscovered until it was too late. Because of his diligence, professionalism, and attention to detail, I am alive and well. I owe my life to this man. I cannot recommend him more highly. John Adams Latta, SC
