I like to take care of children. Sometimes my staff and I can make a big difference and sometimes we cannot. I enjoy honest candid discussion and providing a recommendation as well as discussing the pros and cons of alternative management plans.

A good place to listen to the story and examine your child is in one of our offices but naturally you are always welcome to call our practice at (412) 359-3445. If you want to speak about appointments or the like then Carol Miller and Marilyn Smith are there to help you. If you want to clarify a treatment plan or talk about a change in symptoms then Elizabeth Olayer (physician assistant) is available. When you call our office you will get to speak to a real live human or leave a message and someone will call you back within one or two hours. If nobody calls you back or if the matter is urgent then please call me on my mobile phone (412) 567-7870. I almost always answer it (unless of course I am operating or cycling to work, leave a message if I don't pick up). You can also call the page operator at Allegheny General Hospital (412) 359-3131 who knows how to track me down or to get hold of my clinical partner, Dr. J. Christopher Post if I am out of town, flying on an airplane or on another continent.
