Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important.

Cindy, the nurse, is the most heartless nurse I've encountered since Dr. Matook's nurse Rachel.
I've gone to Dr. Cook off and on since he started his practice. At first, he appeared to care, was through if something was wrong. Over the years, 14 years later, he acts senile, does not care about long standing patients, nor does Cindy who was once a considerate person, not any more. My husband lost his job so, next thing I know they are treating us like dirt, mean to us, made an appointment for me to get a flu shot but when I came in for it told me they had given them all to new patients! I tried to make an appointment to see Dr. Cook and was refused by Cindy to be able to make one. She said I walked out on an appointment so I wouldn't be scene again. The actual matter was that I make very early appointments because of an auto accident causing severe pain, I can't sit there for hours, she knows that. Dr. Cook left all his patients waiting for over TWO hours without explanation, I was in severe pain by then, no pain med could I take until I got home. He should have sent that patient to the ER they were having chest pains, heart attack. That was negligent of him of the patient whose life was in danger and the patients waiting to be seen for their appointment. I told them I could wait no longer, I would reschedule or go to the ER. Cindy used this as an excuse to ban me from seeing my family doctor. Not that he is that good, he isn't. He has asked me if I looked up my symptoms online with a computer! I guess that is what HE does. That doesn't determine what is wrong with someone. He took x rays of my chest, I have a black spot on one lung, it gives me problems so I asked him what caused it. He told me it was just a place where scar tissue has built up due to some sort of injury. Without further tests, how would he know? He doesn't! He just didn't care.
My daughter went though the same discrimination. She was taken to the ER in Midwest City, stayed one night, did not sleep because she must have sleeping medication to help her but none was prescribed and she could not sleep for the second night and asked the nurse to call the doctor so that she would be able to rest. She had a heart monitor on her, an IV but the nurse refused to administer the normal medication she was taking before coming to the hospital even to allow her to sleep. The nurse kept refusing to call my daughter's doctor, was very hateful and spoke broken English because she is a foreigner that is very hateful. These foreigners should NOT be allowed to treat patients in our hospitals, they should be sent back to their OWN country! This nurse does not deserve a job in America. She hung up on me THREE times when I simply asked who she was and why my daughter was not receiving her medication. My daughter ended up taking her own IV out and going home. The IV machine kept beeping because it had ran out and the nurse would not change the IV to a new one or reset the machine. It was driving my daughter and the other patient in the room with her nuts. The other patient had taken a fall and could not get out of bed, she kept calling for the nurse to get just a drink of water, the nurse refused to give her a drink, my daughter had to get up and get her a drink. In all this extreme duress and frustration my daughter took out the IV, walked out after calling her daughter to come get her. Then, Doctor Cook's nurse, Cindy, refused my daughter an appointment using the excuse that they would not see her again because she left the hospital even though my daughter explained how horrible she had been treated.
Just call Midwest City Hospital, ask for the nurse on the second floor that has a strong accent, doesn't speak English well, ask her who she is and why the patients are treated so poorly, she WILL HANG UP ON YOU instead of tell you who the bad nurse is, which is her after cursing you out in her Gibberish language.
These are some of the worst doctors and hospital in the metro area, avoid them if at all possible. Dr Grillo wants to remove all your necessary body parts so don't go see him either. He is an orthopedic doctor like Dr. Matook. They practice simply to get you on the operating table and remove your essential body parts to make you dependent on them for life, on pain meds, so on. Do NOT trust them, I sure don't now.
