He is knowledgeable but is out of the country most of the time, Nigeria, to be exact. His office staff are intolerable. I do not like being treated as if I am insignificant...

I am a 30 year old male. I have severe back problems and I am overwieght. I went to seek treatment for the pain so I could excercise and shed the pounds. After showing me I have only one of 5 lumbar disk remaining, and assuring me that I would be debilitated if I did not lose weight(can barely stand erect now), he suggested I go to a fitness club?? OK, I totally agree doc, that is why I am here TO ALEVIATE THE PAIN SO I CAN DO JUST THAT. I just could not communicate the fact that if I work out for 30 minutes, I pay for it for the next 5 days....Flat on my back. Very punctual though, after waiting over an hour I had a 3 minute appointment. It took him 1 minute to basically say "you're fat go get your money back" and for the next two I just sat there saying "But, but, but" as I limped out the door. I am not totally sure if he even understood that I was there because I wanted to lose weight. He kept going on about how I could make time in my busy full time school/full time work schedule to join a fitness club. Well time was not my problem or I wouldn't have been at the appointment. The fact that I cannot walk faster than a slow limp is why I was there....Oh well, guess I might as well enjoy a good meal, since I cannot do anything physical! Just my cynical sense of humor, Bah, I will just wiggle on the floor till I lose weight!
