All business--no kindness, very sarcastic to my wife who was in more need of suggestions of how to deal with the stress of being the nurse, doctor, and caregiver while we are not with him for less then 15 minutes. We are both in our later 70's and have never dealt with mental illness. I would not recommend him even though he is very intelligent. It seems that the intelligence has driven from his brain people skills. He would do well in research where he has only a lab and computer to deal with.
He also only accepts money orders or cash ($40).Does he report all this to the IRS? I wonder. I have been to many doctors and never met one that demanded this. Most accept checks and even credit cards. Is he hiding something?
