Edie (MD. MPH. FAAP) joined Growing Child Pediatrics in 2007. Edie is originally from New York state where she completed her undergraduate work at Vassar College and received her medical degree from New York University Medical School. She completed her pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition. Edie received a degree in public health from the University of Michigan, and completed fellowship training in Social and Preventive Medicine at the University of North Carolina and Child Maltreatment and Neglect at Duke University. Edie has worked with the Center for Child and Family Health and has served as the Medical Director of the State of North Carolina Child Fatality Team. She cares for children from birth to adulthood. She enjoys working with families and children with Attention Deficit Disorder, Asthma, Allergies, and behavioral concerns.
