This Doctor is the most IMPORTANT medical provider that I have. Perhaps this seems like I'm overstating, but she will change your whole concept of health if you just TRY to do what she is asking you to do. I watched her change my sister's life after post-partum depression and major thyroid issues, and my whole family was stunned by the transformation. Now my father (70 and still working after a heart attack and multiple stints placed- thanks to her), my mother (68 and only on ONE medication for pain with arthritis), my brother (also thyroid disorder), and myself (thyroid, endometriosis, multiple pregnancies, and miscarriages) feel that she is the only Doctor that truly cares about getting us on a pathway to health. Other Dr.s can treat symptoms, but Dr. Goode has brought back HEALTH for myself and the family members that have listened to her plan and tried to implement it. She takes as much time as you need to answer questions, and will explain in detail the reasoning behind what she is prescribing with respect and consideration (doesn't treat anyone like an idiot). I personally like her forth-right nature, she is very direct and yet sympathetic to major issues- my sister and I have both had crying jags in her presence, and she was very kind/sympathetic and then aggressive in helping us with the healing process. MOST IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION: WHILE SHE DOES NOT SAY SO, her health protocol for pregnancy is PHENOMINAL!!!! I watched my sister get healthier during her last pregnancy, and listened to her talk about how much better everything went with Dr. Goode's bloodwork and vitamin support. I got to experience this myself with my second TWIN pregnancy (after previously having a terrible experience with twins- one died, both born 32 weeks)- and I have never felt better than I did with her support (in addition to my OBGYN)! With her help, I carried 2 babies to 36 weeks (8lbs, 7.9lbs) and both babies breastfed right away and all of us AMAZED the Dr.'s and nurses throughout the entire process. She caught infections that my OBGYN (a well-respected high-risk group in Winston-Salem) missed because she was on top of my bloodwork throughout. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE listen to this lady! She knows what she is talking about. I have no personal connections to her or her staff, and am only sharing this because I need for her to be around for a long, long, time. I do not know what I will do when she retires!

You may think I am over doing this review but I have never experienced such a comprehensive, knowledgable and caring doctor. I have been having neck issues that I have gone to see many specialist for. Dr. Goode spent over two hours with me then went and researched the problem further and helped with a solution. I trust her with my whole family. I have never seen a doctor spend so much time looking for and coming up with solutions then she does. Almost all the doctors I have been to don't spend more then 15 minutes and try and come up with the standard "take this pill" but the problem never is resolved. Dr. Goode comes up with a plan to achieve health for the long term.
