The doctor has kind of German military officer style that is not very appealing. But besides that he is a very good doctor. He was very thorough in his examination. As matter of fact I dont think that any internist, family doc etc or orthopedic surgeon ever examined me ever in this town so thoroughly, asked so much details and expressed interest in my case. I was very pleasantly surprised.
One drawback: the doc has some prejudice towars certain medications so he didn't prescribed me one that would had been helphul and inexpensive but I got another one which didn't work but cost me a lot.

The "care" provided by Dr. Robert Kastner is sub-par at best, and can scarcely be defined as any sort of care whatsoever.

After waiting for 3 hours, my wife was made to feel like a fool for even seeking a medical opinion, as well as continually being talked to in a condescending manner like she knew nothing about her own self - and this continued through the entire visit.

My wife (30 yrs old) went to Dr. Kastner's urgent care facility in hopes of being treated for a persistent cough; A cough that lasts through the day and worsens at night preventing her from sleeping through the night.

Dr. Kastner's unprofessional tactics began with the initial questions all patients are asked, such as "Are you allergic to anything?"

My wife has been allergic to penicillin for her entire life, so needless to say it's been quite some time since she actually suffered an allergic reaction to penicillin. Dr. Kastner acted very perturbed toward my wife when she could not describe/explain exactly what happens to her during an allergic reaction to penicillin, giving the impression that he didn't believe her.

The day is April 2nd, and the pollen is out of control (at least in our part of town, so my wife explained to him that she felt she was having an allergy problem. Dr. Kastner immediately begins interrogating her about the validity of her allergies. He then proceeded to tell my wife that pollen does not cause allergies! Although this is complete non-sense, it wouldn't have been so bad if he didn't say it like he was talking to a 4 year-old.

The good doctor also huffed and puffed, and made my wife feel like she was an idiot for asking about OTC cough medicines while breastfeeding. He proceeded to tell her that the brands she mentioned are "unsafe." Meanwhile he writes her a prescription for a NARCOTIC cough syrup!!

My wife has not been able to sleep for days now, she even keeps/wakes up me and our daughter.
