This man had a huge impact on my life. The day before my 6th birthday I broke my leg in two places. He met my Mom at the hospital, carried me in and set my leg in a cast. He came to my house in the middle of the night when my parents were both giving me pain meds not knowing they were both doing so. He gave me something to reverse the effect and stayed until morning. He taught a terrified 6 year old to use crutches and often stopped by my house to see how I was.
