Dr Copeland gives me the attention I need, when I need it. He has a dry sense of humor, but is a lot of fun. Professionally he is excellent. I look to him first, last and always. His staff is very good, friendly and nice. And his assistant is great also.

On Wed. May 8, I finally had an appointment with Dr. Ira Copeland and while waiting to see him, I showed his Assistant Nurse Sherry "Two Red Bumps", I had on my waist line and said to her I believe they were Shingles, she immediately said "NO", That's Not Shingles. When Dr. Copeland came in he also said "It Is NOT Shingles", even though I was insisting, I believed it was Shingles. It was Itchy and painful. He said it looks like a "Bug Bite". Four days later, it was getting worse and three new ones came out. I again called and spoke to Sherry, she said I should come in to the office early a.m. for her to look at it. Yesterday, Wed. May 15. Which I did, she looked at the sores and finally said "YES" it was Shingles and she would call in a Prescription to my Pharmacy.
All afternoon I kept calling my Pharmacy and also left two voice messages
for Sherry, inquiring about my medication. At 5 p.m. I again called Dr. Copeland's Office and spoke to another nurse, explaining my situation and she Politely said, she would get Sherry on the Phone to speak to me. She came back and informed me, that Sherry said "It's too late for a Prescription" The Shingles has to now take it's course. Sherry, did not even have the Common Courtesy, to speak to me or return my call. "Sherry" has always been very RUDE, INCOMPETENT & UNPROFESSIONAL. I will never ever return to Dr. Copeland's Office again. That is certainly no way to treat a Patient.
However, the other Nurses and Staff are all very nice and Well Mannered.
This has been my "Second" Unpleasant experience with Sherry.
