Needed a script filled, was advised I had to come in to the office to get that done, they even assured me that it would be relatively inexpensive with insurance. Set an appointment for 6+ months out. The day finally came for my appt, and when I got there they required me to do nearly $1000 (after insurance) worth of testing and blood draws before they would fill it. Afterwards I had to call 3 times over 3 weeks to see if the doctor had written the script. At that point I finally received a call back and was told that there was more testing they needed completed before they could fill it. I refused and cancelled all 6 appointments they had required me to schedule. After losing multiple days of work pay, having to pay an arm and a leg and getting poked and prodded for several hours they could only tell me I had low iron. Are you freaking kidding me?! After all of this I still wasn't given the script I initially was required to set the appointment for.
