Dr. Lloyd Smith is a rip off. He removed a cyst from the corner of my eye that had been coming and going for quite some time. It would fill up with fluid and sometimes pus and I would burst it. Sometimes it felt like a knot was there. I was also getting Eye infections in both my eyes. So first he tells me the knot is benign and my insurance would not pay to have the knot removed because it would be considered cosmetic. First of all how is any knot benign if it has not been tested. Second of all they didn't even file it on my insurance so it could go towards my deductible. Third of all the knot that was removed left a hole in the corner of my eye so deep I had to go to my main Dr for antiobiotics. Which was paid by my insurance company. No problems. Received a statement from Natchez Pathology Lab that stated they were waiting on payment from my insurance company. Three weeks later they received payment. I paid this doctor almost $400 to remove a cyst that left a hole in the corner of my eye big as a black eye pea and no one from that office even bothered to call an check on me. I guess not they had drained me of all my cash I am disable and cannot work. I am giving him one star only because my eye has healed. no thanks to him though.
