My network required me to go to this dentist. It was the closet to my house. I made an appointment and went there for cleaning my teeth. After a, what seemd like, elaborate x-ray, etc., the Dr shows up and advises me that I need to be administered antibiotics (because of heart condition and threat of infection!! Well, clean your instruments!I have been cleaning my teeth for a long time and no one had ever suggested antibiotic treatment before!!) and I need to see a couple of different specialists for this and that and the other reason to the tune of ~$2k, BEFORE I get my teeth cleaned!! Thanks you very much, I said, and left. Called the Insurance Co. an reported the treatment. Got in touch with another Dr in the network and had my teeth cleaned before noon!! No Hassle! I view this outfit as a place where they try to milk all they can out of a simple tooth cleaning exercise and the patients are duked into things that they don't know anything about. AVOID!
