They were able and willing to answer every question I had. I definitely felt informed. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. They worked with me on my payment and with my insurance company. I knew how much I owed before the proceedure was done. Dr Farr is kind of a character and reminds me of the old family dentist. His staff is super!!! They were always available to answer questions and took time with me on the phone. Would recommend him to all my friends. by the way I had all of my upper teeth pulled for dentures and he did a great job and made me feel comfortable during and after the procedure.
I went in for a consultation about getting an extraction under general anesthesia (which I only found out they do not offer until halfway into the visit), because I have very severe dentist fright. A co-worker had highly recommended him, so I entered the building (which was somewhat difficult for me to find) with a decent level of confidence. Dr.Farr examined me in a way that, to me, seemed very rough and callous. He reacted with a near-obscene tone and loud voice when I involuntarily contracted my lip when he was poking around in a very sensitive area, and seemed to respond when I hesitated in allowing him to tooth-tap the problem area as if I had offended him on some deep personal level and bellowed his disfavor loud enough, seemingly, for the entire office to hear. He seemed a bit short-tempered and overly dramatic, almost in a sarcastic or mocking tone (in the general sense of, "OH, so I SUPPOSE that this might all be a waste of TIME here, by the vibes I'm GETTING from you, am I RIGHT?") and that was a steady issue throughtout the visit. He seemed genuine in wanting to help, and genuine that I should get the issue resolved soon, but appeared (to me) almost deliberately oblivious that I was very very nervous and, without directly saying it, seemed as if he tossed aside my very overt (and I had implicitly stated so) fears and feelings as nonsensical. The aides who assisted me in paperwork were all very nice and acknowledged my fears with a kind ear, but the doctor himself just seemed too prideful and seemed to have very poor chair-side charisma.
