Practice has been in existence since 1950 when Dr Richard Funk began practicing in Royersford. Dr. Robert Funk, his son began practicing with him in 1985. The practice has remained an intimate family practice where all the patients treated with respect and kindness, the practice has also improved itself over the years as Dr Robert Funk immersed himself in continuing education courses and exposed himself to all the newest technology and philosophies. Consequently the office now offers digital radiographs, laser cavity detection, intra oral cameras, CEREC crowns fabricated in 2 hours, joint vibration analysis for treatment of TMD, NTI oral appliances for treatment of headaches and clenching, take home sleep tests for treatment of sleep apnea, orthodontic treatment, CAMBRIA method of treating and preventing tooth decay by elimination of harmful oral bacteria. The office also works hand in hand with local oral surgeons, periodontists, and dental laboratories for implant placement and restoration. The office also offers interest free payment plans. Treatment plans are created through a team proccess involving Dr. Funk, his hygienists, and a consutation and review with the patient so each patient will recieve a treatment plan that is designed to meet the patients particular needs.
