Dr. Fowler seems like a really nice fellow. However, he sure could use better office help. Since our first appt. we identified numerous accounting mistakes, which eventually forced us to keep a paper trail for legal purposes.

In addition, I changed jobs/insurance providers and his secretary tried to charge us about $1,500 extra because she claimed that they were allowed to charge the full amount since I changed insurance providers and "had no insurance". She was wrong. I also think it is ethically wrong for Dr. offices to charge the average working person almost 2x what they charge the insurance companies for the same services. This is why the govt thinks it has to step in and "fix" things.

It seems like they have someone new in the office now and so far things have been better. I have to say that for a while this was the worst dealing I have ever had with a local business. The care was good and Dr. Fowler is a great provider but beware of over charges and "lost" payments and know your insurance policy well!
