I took my son to the facility located at 7250 S. Durango Dr., in Las Vegas. Dr. Selznick removed my son's wisdom teeth. I was ignored at first by the front desk, but that is the least of what subsequently happened. After calling me back to talk to the doctor about the upcoming treatment, I asked him about the various anesthesia options, and about my son's health concerns. He seemed at first to be willing to answer questions, and indeed invites questions. However, I suppose because I expressed concerns about my son going into cardiac arrest, the doctor felt it was incumbent on him to criticize me to my son. He told my son (he told me all this after we got home) that I was irrational and overprotective, and had no business talking to him (the doctor) the way I did. I can't think of anyone on this green earth that would have a problem with the way I spoke to him, which wasn't any way at all except as someone asking questions. Criticizing me to my son shows arrogance, hypocrisy, and unprofessionalism. I would not recommend this practice to anyone, and I am going to complain to the other partners, the referring dentist, and perhaps even the AMA.
