Education Dr. Haas attended St. Olaf College and he received a BS Degree in 1976 in Biology. While in dental school from 1976 to 1980, Dr. Haas was selected to the Dental Exchange Student Program in Aarhus, Denmark. While studying in Denmark, the seed of oral surgery was planted while working with Dr. Jens Kolsen Pedersen, OMS. After graduating dental school, he spent a year as a general practice resident at Hennepin County Medical Center. The Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) residency at the University of Minnesota followed, and he completed the program in 1984.

The Haas is the best oral surgeon I have ever been to. As a matter of fact, I will not allow any dentist to refer me to anyone else for an extraction. I have benefitted from his expertise 4 times and have named him THE TOOTH WHISPERER.
I have suffered at the hands of other dentists and surgeons, and know when someone is truly at the top of his/her field.
Dr. Haas is kind, gentle, careful to not cause any pain, while working quickly and more efficiently than other specialists.
I recommend him with no reservations.
