I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through. The office was easy enough to find. If I compare them to others in their field, I wouldn't say they're the worst, but they're definitely not the best. Dr. Bakker was so ready to do a total hip replacement and I went elsewhere and found an extremely competent surgeon that did a completely different type of surgery that Dr. Bakker did not advise me to do. The results at the Cleveland Clinic were amazing and I'm so glad I researched Dr. Peter Brooks and went with hip resurfacing instead of a total hip replacement. Dr. Brooks bedside manner was much more caring and confident in the end results.
