I wouldn't recommend Dr. Smith to anyone. Period. Upon my first visit, I notified her of my past TMJ problems, which had been a nonissue for years, and asked her to be gentle nonetheless. After my initial cleaning appointment, I went back for an easy, shallow filling. I reminded her of my past TMJ problems, but instead of treating me with care, she pushed down on the left side of my jaw as hard as she could (for at least a minute) as she injected the painkiller. As a result, she brought my TMJ problems back after years under control (even through having my wisdom teeth pulled). I found her personality oppressive and domineering. And at least on other person has had a similar experience with Dr. Smith. Too bad I found that out after the damage was done. I also wrote a letter explaining what happened, but Dr. Smith never responded. Don't go there!
