Sublingual Immunotherapy (Allergy Drops) is a method of treating allergies by placing drops of a custom mixed vaccine (extract) underneath the tongue. These help build your body’s tolerance to certain antigens over time.

Who Can Take Them?

Allergy drops are wonderful for children and anyone who does not want to endure the pain and inconvenience of weekly allergy injections. The drops are self-administered on a daily basis in the comfort of your own home.

Are They Safe?

Allergy drops have been used around the world for more than 60 years and are much safer than allergy injections. In fact, the World Health Organization (WHO) has endorsed allergy drops as “a viable alternative to injection therapy.” We have used a form of Allergy Drops in our practice for 25 years and our patients just love them.

He is awesome! My son started seeing him about 2 years ago. We found out he had many food allergies and some environmental allergies too (dust, Molds, Pollens, and also some animal dander). He started therapy with the drops that go under the tongue and he is doing much better. When we first saw Dr. Bishop my son had terrible itchy rashes on both arms in the bend of his elbows. His school called to have him picked up one day because they thought he had scabies! He did not, it was the foods he was eating and probably also his allergy to dust mites :( I am so Glad our GP referred us to this doctor! :)

I went to him feeling awful about eating in general. I always had stomach issues and often had headaches. After figuring out which foods I'm allergic to I'm starting to feel much better. I see Doctor Bishop then go down the hall to his Dietician for meal plans and suggestions that match my allergy profile. She is awesome!

I have and will suggest Dr. Bishop over and over again.
