Based on my experience, I would hesitate to recommend this office to my friends or family. While their equipment is fairly current, and the dentist would try and get me in for an appointment soon in case of an an emergency, the overall service quality has substantially declined since I first visited this office about 10 years ago. Their staff has been OK and generally friendly. The only reason I stayed with this office for that long, however, was the professionalism and exceptional responsibility of Trish Skurr, the dental hygienist, who has recently left the office much to her patients' regret. Other hygienists do not posses nearly as much of professional skills and knowledge as Trish does. More so, I had to cancel my new appointment in the absence of Trish on staff, in order to avoid hurting my sensitive gums, as I had experienced before with other hygienists in this office.

Constant turnover, from the point of view of a patient you can tell that it seems as if whenever one of their employees is just getting the hang of the office and their coworkers they replace them so they don't have to give them a raise. This practice likes to hire hygienists and receptionists and dentists straight out of dental school. They recently fired their best hygienist, who had been there for at least the 10 years I have *had* been going there. As a former patient, just left the practice this past week, I had gotten used to seeing a new receptionist and assistants every time I was in the office, their dentists would normally last about 2-3 years before they would bring in a new one for all the patients to get used to.. I had actually gotten very comfortable with the hygienist, Trish, and I had led myself to believe that I had chosen my hygienist and not my dentist. However, I recently discovered they fired Trish over the summer and deicided to hire some young african american girl straight out of dental- hygienist school, needless to say she was very rough and stabbed me with the dental instrument several times and was NOT as thorough as Trish was. I have requested my record to be transferred to valley dental health, .2880, as this office has been rated highly and is where THE best dental hygienist in the Baltimore Metro area is employed.
