When I assigned Dr. Oza as the primary dentist for my family, I was really pleased. I thought finally, I have found a dentist that my whole family is comfortable with. The staff is nice, the office is clean and my husband, myself and my oldest daughter all were comfortable with their work. However, we are no longer patients of Dr. Oza due an office policy that was neither explained nor disclosed to us. I confirmed but missed a 2 and 1/2 hour appointment, due to financial concerns. We just couldn't afford the dental work at that time. My youngest daughter had an appointment coming up and the day prior, I did not hear from them to confirm, so I called them. I was told that because I missed the appointment, they dropped my entire family as patients. I explained to them that I understand that businesses have policies, but discloser would have been nice. I mean, I spent close to an hour filling out all kinds of paperwork before my first appointment... signing documents confirming that I understand that they can automatically use my credit card to pay for any work that the insurance company doesn't pay... UNDERSTOOD... but dropping the entire family because of one missed appointment is wrong. The policy needs to be clearly outlined for patients to know ahead of time... Thanks Dr. Oza... now I will have to find another dentist...
