My mother had an appointment with Dr. Caskey today for a cleaning and 2 fillings. She recently suffered a heart attack and is taking a blood thinner. She was concerned about whether it was ok to have the dental work done while on the medication so she called the office. "Dr. Karen", his receptionist of 30 years ASSURED my mother that is was perfectly ok to have any dental work done as well as a cleaning. Today as Dr.caskey is performing the fillings and she was bleeding he asked her if she was taking a baby aspirin. She explained that she was taking a blood thinner because of a recent heart attack and he was appalled that she was there! He said you should NEVER have any dental work done for at least 6 months after a heart attack!! It seems his receptionist is giving out false information that could have literally cost my mother her life!! When "Dr. Karen" was informed of her mistake she said "HA HA you learn something new everyday"!! Sorry Karen, I don't think this is funny AT ALL!!! Please be aware before you use this dentist!!
