I scheduled a physical with Dr Sawhney's office through zocdoc. When his receptionist called to confirm my appointment she advised me that although my appointment time was for 1pm I could expect a 1 to 3 hour delay and it was not unusual for the dr to fall behind with his patients. When I attempted to verify that I wasn't misunderstanding what she was saying she rudely laughed and said no doctor's office sees patients on time. I was totally put off as a possible first time patient. I told her that I've heard of a 15-20 mins behind but that was ridiculous and promptly canceled my appointment.

Dr. Sawhney is great. Very knowledgeable and straight forward.

It is unfortunate that some of his office staff leave a lot to be desired. One member of the office staff is simply rude, condescending, and often makes you feel like you are putting her out with every interaction whether it is on the phone or in person. And interaction with her seems unavoidable as she is usually the one behind the desk or on the phone. I don't think that she realizes how nasty and off-putting her attitude is. It makes it hard to be nice back.
I don't know if she works at the Pasadena office, I've only been to the Glen Burnie office.

Dr Sawhney is great! And I would give him 4.5 stars....I would give more stars if the office staff was nicer and more efficient. The 2 stars is really because the Glen Burnie office staff leaves a lot to be desired.
