Performed surgery on my nose to correct deviated septum and in the process removed most of my middle turbinate+outfracture along with reduction of inferior turbinates and my nose and life have not been the same since. My nose cannot maintain moisture and my nasal resistance has been severely diminished. Was told that patients only need a sliver of the middle turbinate and from my experince and research that is false. More and more ENT's are becoming aware that turbniate resection is in most cases completely unwarranted even in cases paradoxical turbinates. I feel I was misled and my surgery was unwarranted and regret having ever been to his office.
