When Dr. Szeszycki was almost 16 years old, she was hired to work with C Wm Hoglund DDS (a Lombard dentist) as a file clerk. Over the next two years, she was given more responsibility such that with Dr. Hoglund's advice she entered dental hygiene school in 1973. Nearing graduation with a Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene, Dr. Szeszycki made the decision to enter dental school. Upon graduation in 1982, she started her own practice in Lombard. Within a year and a half, she joined Dr. Hoglund in his practice, eventually purchasing his practice in 1987.
Dr. Szeszycki is proud of the fact that many of her patients have only had two dentists in their lifetimes.......she and Dr. Hoglund. She is humbled by the loyalty that many of her patients have shown to this practice for so many years and feels blessed to be carrying on the tradition of excellence started by Dr. Hoglund so many years ago.
