The worst experience with a medical provider I have experienced. Initially Dr. Baldare was helpful as my son experienced a dental emergency. However, when complications arose over the course of the next year, Dr. Baldare stayed with his recommended procedure at great discomfort to my son and great expense to me. Of course, I did not realize the expense as I did not receive a bill for the first complication until after 5 visits occurred. I was billed for each of the 5 visits and in discussing this with other dentists and with my insurance carrier, I was told that Dr. Baldares approach was incorrect from the beginning. I asked Dr. Baldare about a change of approach at each visit and he refused to consider other options. We stayed the course with Dr. Baldare due to trust earned during initial visit. How things have occurred since then have led to me posting this review. He was wrong in how he handled my son and Lynn and the billing office are either completely inept or opportunists who do not stand behind their work and bill for full expense despite their errors.
We changed dentists in March of 2015 and the dentists recommended the exact procedure I asked Dr. Baldare about at each visit. This doctor said this is the approach that should have been taken at the outset. My son has not had one issue since we left Dr. Baldare's practice. I requested Dr. Baldare review the care he gave my son and the amount he is billing me. It is a large amount as he is billing me approximately $300 for each time my son had to see him for complications. This is after my medical carrier paid $300 for each visit. He indicated he has reviewed and will bill me the full amount. It is unconscionable. He did a disservice to my son and my family. I do not write negative posts, but feel compelled to do in this case as families should not see this man and his ineffective office.

Dr. Baldare in my opinion is an unprofessional and incompetent dentist. He does not discuss treatment with you, but rather just does what he wants to. He once told me that my insurance didn't cover a procedure as soon as he got done doing it. He smells of cigarette smoke as you will often see him outside smoking between patients. Gross! He discusses patients in front of others, having no respect for confidentiality at all. I really question is competence as I have had ongoing trouble with a tooth for an extended period of time. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone.
