I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone! I got such poor care here, and wouldn't want anyone else to suffer! They didn't give me advice that would benefit me at all. They only cared about what would make them the most money. Their office was unbearably cold. I was starting to worry that I would catch hypothermia if I stayed there any longer. I understand that heating bills are expensive, but it was awful in there. They left me completely alone for a long time and I became very nervous. There was only a couple of times where the staff was actually able to answer my questions. Most of the time, they'd refer me to their boss or another staff member. The staff, 'Asia' blue springs mo location at 100 NW Mock, filled in for Dr. Brian Smith Gastrointerolotist, absolute worst staff i have ever experienced. Asia was a cold hearted secrtary/acting 'nurse', flat out lied to a patient while i was in the waiting room, and when i called her to expedite a test that i needed due to severe pain she said to me 'now that this phone call is not being recorded i'm going to tell you exactly how i feel. When you came into the office the other day and after being told your appointment was cancelled you were nothing but a bitch and i told dr molos that. (granted my labeled 'bitch' status was based on my crying because i was in severe pain, after recently having almost died due to a volvulus i was now a bitch). Asia's attitude was absolutely in human . Dr molos agreed to come in the following day to see Dr brian smiths patients. I assume the patient that came in after me, that asia lied to, was one of them. I arrived that day 15 minutes early and she says to me 'good i was afraid you weren't going to show up i'll call the doctor now and he can leave from his KS office'. Now i ask, why would i not show up. i showed up the day before, was pulling into the parking lot when she called to tell me that Dr Smith had to cancel. I was visibly distraught and in severe pain. She managed to reschedule the next day... i thought i could suffer through another day of pain to see Dr Molos the next day... so i did. Mind you .... I had taken time off work to get to the bottom of my pain. Asia had zero compassion, hated her job, and i wouldn't have hired he to clean my toilets. Dr Molos, at first, appeared to be caring. He acknowledged that i was in pain and needed immediate resolution to the problem. He also indicated that my previous near death experience with a volvulus, was likely to happen again. A volvulus is deadly, mind you... so he orders tests. On Friday (two days later) i arrive for these tests, only to find that the most important (a CT scan of my abdomen to see if another volvulus was occurring) was delayed due to Dr Molos insensitive remark to my insurance stating that it was merely routine "not important' therefore med solutions, hired by cigna, was going to delay the approval throughout the weekend (mind you, i am in pain, and it has been a month since i have had a bowel movement, key indicator for a volvulus... dr molos didn't care. he was working a deal with cigna to 'cha ching' collect on a bonus of some sort by delaying it. That or he bought into Asia's lie. (will explain in detail soon) I was in dire pain, he was aware of that. he made comments to the fact during the doctor visit, yet he felt i could suffer the entire weekend in pain to appease cigna by stating it as only a merely routine exam. Routine is not a serious need to have exam.... however my tears, discomfort, and medical history was proof it was serious. This Asia secretary after she had called me late in the day on Friday (when the test was ordered on Wednesday) that insurance has not yet approved the CT scan to see if my intestines were twisting. I was devastated as i was in pain and it was very similar to the pain i experienced when i had the volvulus. I told this asia that i would clear it up with cigna and call her back. Cigna then told me that this asia didn't even call to have it approved until Friday, two days after the order was initially requested. I was visibly upset and asked her to call the doctor to give cigna an upgrade in the urgency of the order (at cigna's suggestion). She was very rude to me and said she would try to call him and call me back. She didn't call me back and it was getting late in the day on friday and i was scheduled for this CT scan the next morning and wanted to make sure that cigna was going to cover it before i went in. I called her back around 3:30 that afternoon because i wanted to clear it up before Saturday mornings scheduled CT Scan. when this ASia answered the phone she says, i'm leaving the office and this isn't being recorded so i'm going to tell you this, i think you are a rude bitch and i told dr molos this and he regrets having driven to Blue springs from kansas to see you, he did it as a favor to you and when i told him how bitchy you were he regretted even driving out here. I am not going to sit around and listen to you any longer... and click she hung up on me. I WAS NOT BITCHY, she lacked the compassion a healthcare provider should possess when treating patients in distress. I was abused, when i was suffering from severe pain, and worry. Obama needs to relook at who he allows to practice medicine. There needs to be a regulation in place that looks at the doctors demeanor. My experience lately has been that doctors feel they are superior and can do whatever, it should not be that way. Those type of doctors need to be working at walmart or elsewhere, there is no place for them in healthcare. If they could take a moment and think how they would feel if their loved one's were treated in the same manner as they treat the patients that they don't care for. Healthcare should not be a 'business money making ' view it should be focused on the patient and caring for the patient. Healthcare gives no hope to those that are sick anymore. I am two years away from a PhD, and i have compassion for people in pain, suffering from cancer and what not, Dr Molos and his secretary asia, are not. They need to be reviewed and their licenses pulled. Asia also said to me on that 'non taped' conversation that she so eloquently had to let me know about, that she could delay my CT scan even longer is he wanted to and that she thinks she just might do that, then she hung up. She intentionally went out of her way to terrorize me further, knowing that i was in pain. She was having a good time with her little antics and she iied to molos about what really happened. We need to dispose of those in healthcare that cannot ethically handle patients. This experience has brought me to the point that i need to start a petition to rid the healthcare system of doctors/staff who lack compassion for their patience and who are more focused on money. You are not getting the healthcare you deserve as long as the doctor is focused mainly on the bottom line. Furthermore, if a patient is dissatisfied with his care then they should get a refund of the copay .I now have no idea how i am going to get the results to the tests i did have. I cannot go back to that office, obviously asia will treat me like crap and i won't go back to her skanky attitude. I was mistreated and now need to find another gastrointerologist to read me my results, and i should get my $35 copay back due to the poor service i relieved that day. I won't stop stop.. until i get justice....I will resurface. This type of uncaring attitude needs to stop in healthcare field. I have generated a few petitions to stop this behavior.
