In my 56 years I have never met a Dentist as proficient, quick, friendly, and expert in his field as Dr. Kevin Short. This was my first visit to him and I could not be more pleased with his performance in extracting my painful molar. The procedure was over before I knew it and there was no pain or discomfort. If I need any further extractions, I will wait as long as I have to just to have him take care of my problems. Thanks Doc for a great experience!! PS. His Assistant Jessica was wonderful and comforting as well! Staff is always pleasant and helpful:)

We were clients of Cumming Dental Associates for more than a decade and other than long waits, the service was good. Last year my oldest daughter, who was 18 at the time went in for a cleaning and was told that she needed to have her wisdom teeth removed. She wasn't very excited about this and being 18 didn't have a lot of spare cash - they told her that it was covered under our dental insurance - they told her that they checked with the insurance company and given approval. When it came time for her appointment, I took her and told the business manager that I was in no way responsible for her bill - she agreed and told our daughter that she was only responsible for a small deductible. I was reluctant on the whole procedure because they weren't going to put her out. After the surgery, she had to return to see them a few times due to dry sockets and a lot of pain. A couple months after the procedure, the started calling me at work demanding that I pay for the surgery - I told them that we were assured at the time of the appointment that it was covered by insurance - they told us it wasn't,and now we need to pay. They got very heavy handed with myself and my daughter and eventually went after my wife, filing some kind of collections claim on her. Here's the thing - my daughter was an adult at the time and as far as we knew, she was covered - the document that my wife signed is dated 2002, back when my daughter was 9 - the claim would be against my broke daughter, but since they don't think they can get paid from her, they're coming after us. All I can say is that we'll see them in court. .
